Breakfast at Tiffany's?

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

- Audrey Hepburn

MWSC 09

the end; mwsc class of two thousand and nine - none can compare.
we're just too good to be true.

k.

I see.

I hear your hollow laughter your sighs of secret pain. Pretending and inventing just to hide your shame. Plastic smiles and faces blinkin' back the tears. Empty friends and places all magnify your fears. If you're tired and weary, weak and heavy laden. I can understand how it feels to be alone. I will take your burden, if you'll let Me love you. Wrap My arms around you. Give your heart a home. It hurts to watch you struggle and try so hard to win. Wasting precious moments restless and confused. Building up defenses for fear that you'll be used. Take My yoke upon you and walk here by My side. Let Me heal your heartaches, dry the tears you've cried. Never will I leave you, never turn away. Keep you through the darkness lead you through the day.

Smile;

"Today, I asked my three year-old cousin what she wanted to be for Halloween. Expecting to hear something like a princess, I was shocked when she told me that she wanted to be a ceiling fan. Favorite cousin ever. MLIA"

Lampshade anyone?

"My grandparents were in town this past week when the awkward subject of teen pregnancy/abortion came up. The table fell silent, then my 92 year old Great Grandmother stuck out her hands and said: "AWKWARD TURTLE!" I suddenly have a new respect for old people. MLIA."

Love old people.

"Last night, I was at a neon party. I had glow in the dark facepaint, and everybody wanted some. When a hot guy came up, I put some on my thumb, smudged it on his forehead and whispered 'Simba'. He thought I was a total freak. His friend on the other hand declared me a legend and bought me drinks all night. I can deal with that. MLIA."

I'd do that.

"Today, my mom showed me an old home video of me as a child. I was doing an interpretive dance about chocolate pudding. MLIA"

GOLD. HAHAHAHAHA

"Today, I learned that my much older cousin and uncle wanted me to be named Arrow. My brother's name is Bo. I am extremely disappointed with my parent's choice. MLIA."

Me too.

"A while ago, I found out that "Liar, Liar Pants On Fire" translated into French and back comes back to say "Teller of Untruths, Your Trousers Have Combusted". I laughed. MLIA"

Sorry sir, but your trousers have combusted.

I would post so many more... but in other words. I LOVE MLIA.

Initiate: RANT

Don't start me. I probably won't end.

I probably seemed like I didn't care whether people pushed in line or not - I would've gouged everyone one's eyes.

I'm guessing that those people (that pushed infront) claim to want something as beautiful as "world peace." BUT THEY CAN'T EVEN ELICIT SUCH BASIC GOOD ACTIONS SUCH AS WAITING IN LINE.

"Pushing in line probably shows that the most basic of morals are being ignored."

41 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in someone else's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42 How can you say, 'Friend, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from the other person's eye." - Luke 6:41-42

And that is the reason I end this blog here.

Today I learned that life is unfair.

I

do not hate.

But I just SINCERELY think I'm better off without you ANYWHERE near me.
I also think you'll never do the things you wish you want to do.
I think you're an idealist, I'm a realist (to some extent) -

[ an few hours later ]

Eh. Moment's gone
