Ambition

"Today my dad was telling me about how his friend’s wife just retired. She’s in her late 50’s and they just bought a house in Florida and were getting ready to enjoy themselves after years of hard work. They’d finally reached the time in their lives that they’d been waiting for. She went to the doctor and found out she has cancer all over her body. It started in her bladder and is just everywhere now. She might make it to one single winter in Florida. My point is, shit is fleeting. Live now. Be eager. Do things. You can’t sit on your ass and wait for the day you’re going to decide to be important. If you want to be important, do it. If you always wanted to ride a donkey down the god damn grand canyon, figure out a way how now. None of this shit is promised to us. There is no time to hang out in the waiting room. This is your life, and you have no idea when it’s going to be over. Get to living it." via Kait Payne

I can't agree more. But as much as each one of us wanna 'get living', how many of us will start doing that now? I find it hard to initiatiate such a dramatic thing. You know how I wanna get living? Buy a DSLR and start shooting every damn thing. Why? Because life changes in so many little ways everyday that we don't seem to notice it, and it's always too late when you realise you missed something, or more importantly someONE.

I dare you to find what you love and bloody follow it.

love,

k.
