Paradox

Hans Zimmer

Via ZANITA - "Tritons Daughter"

I quote this girl way too much.

“Anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.”

"You can’t control other people. You can’t control the amount of guilt they feel for the things they’ve done to you, you can’t control whether they have good fortune or bad, and you can’t change somebody by silently stewing in your own resentment. You carry around all this negativity and you’re reckless and you act on spite. No good will ever come of bitterness.

So you can be that  person, you can be the one getting drunk with all those grudges you’re holding. Or maybe, just maybe, you can be the one who moves the fuck on. You can choose to get the most out of your situation and you can forgive. You can start showing yourself a little bit of respect and restore some peace in your life. You can realize that you aren’t torturing anybody but yourself. Your life is still happening, you might as well be an active member in it."
